As Controller, you will be hands-on in maintaining Clean Energy Credit Union’s accounting integrity and financial reporting, playing a key role in supporting our mission-driven growth. You will directly establish and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures for the credit union’s fiscal records and financial reports, personally performing general and property accounting, cost accounting, and budgetary control work, and ensuring accuracy and full compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations. You will prepare and present the credit union’s financial results to the Board of Directors each month, and appraise operating results in terms of costs, budgets, operating policies, and trends, all while providing hands-on leadership, training, and supervision to the accounting team in a way that reflects our culture of excellence and cooperative values. This position provides essential clerical and accounting support to the Finance team, performing routine accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation functions that keep the credit union’s day-to-day financial operations running smoothly. Working closely with the Staff Accountants and Senior Staff Accountant, this role helps ensure accurate, timely processing of transactions so that Clean Energy Credit Union can continue delivering trusted clean energy financing to our members.
