Our Registered Installer Program is designed for experienced solar professionals who maintain high standards of quality, requiring at least three years of operation, NABCEP-certified staff, and a commitment to customer-centric business practices.
Installer Eligibility Requirements:
Clean Energy Credit Union partners with qualified solar installers who share our commitment to high-quality projects, strong consumer protections, and a clean-energy future. Before joining our Registered Installer Program, potential partners must meet the following baseline requirements to ensure members receive excellent service and long-lasting solar solutions.
Time in Business
- Must have been in operation for at least 3 years
- Must be able to submit 2 years of financial statements
Primary Focus on Solar Installation
- We prioritize partnerships with solar installers rather than third-party organizations or non-installation entities
Financial Stability
- Installers must demonstrate overall financial health
- Businesses must show no indicators of financial risk or instability
Staff Requirements
- At least one NABCEP-certified installer on staff
- At least one Master Electrician on staff
- A minimum of four employees

- Transparent, easy-to-understand pricing
- No high-pressure sales tactics
