Can the credit union reverse a P2P (Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, etc) payment for me?

Because P2P payments are often processed instantly and treated similarly to cash, the credit union usually cannot reverse a payment once it has been sent. To recover funds, you must first request a refund through the P2P interface or file a dispute directly with their support.
