I think I was scammed on a P2P (Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, etc). What are my next steps?
If you believe you have been taken advantage of, please take these steps immediately:
- Report the transaction within the P2P app.
- Contact their Member Services team to discuss a potential dispute for the transfer that came out of your credit union account.
- Update your security settings by changing your PIN and enabling two-factor authentication.
