Every dollar donated to Clean Energy Credit Union flows through three connected areas. Each one amplifies the next.
The Revolving Loan Fund
Your donation is leveraged 14-to-1, combined with member deposits, and lent out as affordable clean energy loans. When those loans are repaid, the cycle starts again.
Expanding Clean Energy Access
Your donation helps us reach more people in more places, including communities that have historically had the least access to affordable clean energy financing. More members means more impact.
Fossil Free Banking
Every loan we make is a loan a fossil fuel bank did not. Your donation strengthens a credit union that has never and will never finance oil, gas, or coal projects. That is the whole point.
Why it matters
Clean energy should not be a privilege.
Traditional banks follow the money. We follow the mission. That means lending to members that other institutions turn away, including people in low-to-moderate income communities and anyone who has been told no somewhere else. As a certified B Corp, we are held to the highest standards of social and environmental performance, and we would not have it any other way.
